Queens Park Rangers will look to snap a five-game winless streak when they host Swansea City at Loftus Road on Saturday.

The Championship fixture comes after a heavy 3-0 away defeat to Birmingham City last time out, a result that leaves QPR's recent form reading two losses and three draws from their last five outings.

That performance was a stark contrast to their previous home game, a 4-1 victory over Derby County where Alfie Lloyd, Nicolas Madsen, Harvey Vale and Paul Smyth all found the net.

Recent struggles

Consistency has been the issue for Rangers. They followed that Derby win with a creditable 1-1 draw at West Ham, but have now lost their last two matches. The team has conceded eight goals across this five-game run while scoring seven.

Swansea arrive in west London in better form, having won three of their last four league matches. Their only recent setback was a narrow 1-0 home loss to West Ham. The Swans have shown resilience on the road, securing victories at Millwall and Lincoln City during this period.

The last starting lineup featured Charles in goal behind a back four of Adamson, Dunne, Clarke-Salter and Boy Kemper. Kamara and Edwards anchored the midfield, with Poku, Harvey Vale and Paul Smyth supporting striker Rayan Jawad Kolli.

Their attack is led by the experienced Idah.

Saturday's match is a key opportunity for QPR to climb the standings and build momentum ahead of a busy period. The fixture list shows their next challenge after this is another home game, providing a chance to string positive results together at Loftus Road. The match kicks off at 3pm on 24 October.
