Queens Park Rangers (QPR), a Championship football club based in London, is now offering the naming rights to its Loftus Road stands through LinkedIn. The club describes this as an 'exciting opportunity' for companies to sponsor QPR and have their company name displayed at the stadium.

The four stands currently have names, but only one is sponsorship adjacent. One of these stands is within the members area (the Loftus Road Stand), while another is named after former shareholder Amit Bhatia (Bhatia Stand). Other stands are named after Stanley Bowles (Stanley Bowles Stand) and a fan group called Achilleus Security (Achilleus Security Stand).

The club's LinkedIn post highlights the unique nature of this sponsorship offer. It states that rather than traditional stadium advertising, companies would have their name become part of the stadium itself. The package includes visibility in various areas such as ingress and egress points, concourses, hospitality areas, and other agreed upon stadium assets.

QPR is one of several football clubs in London's second tier market, alongside Millwall, Charlton, West Ham, Watford, and six Premier League teams. The club emphasizes the opportunity to entertain clients, prospects, employees, and key business partners at their historic Matrade Loftus Road Stadium.

A LinkedIn responder suggested renaming one of the stands after Les Ferdinand, a former QPR player who played for England five times in the 1970s.
